Types of data collected
Required: User’s name, email, company name & address.
Optional: User’s job title, phone number, tenant specific documents (leases, etc.).
How we collect data & where it is stored
TAP is registered as a Data Processor with the Information Commissioners Office. TAP processes data provided by its clients and users of the system. Most data will have been provided to us by your property manager or landlord who have chosen TAP to provide an on-line property portal for your use. In other cases, we have been supplied with data directly by you or your colleagues. TAP stores its data in the UK, on Microsoft servers.
Use of your data
TAP provides users with access to their property management modules which could be aggregated into one property portal. We require basic information to generate login details for their users to view information and documentation. If the property supplies TAP with energy usage data, or has a reporting or booking function enabled, this information is held securely on the system. If a user leaves the property or would rather not receive portal access, then their access can be deleted. To do this the user should contact TAP or their property manager. Occasionally, our clients will ask us to contact the users with relevant property information. We retain those details on our database that allows TAP to email them with relevant information. If a user chooses to, they may unsubscribe from receiving these communications. Periodically, a user may receive updates from TAP explaining new services within the TAP portfolio. If a user prefers, they may unsubscribe from this service. TAP shares data with the property manager and our partner companies associated with supplying or maintaining the portal. TAP does not sell on any data, nor is it used for marketing purposes.
