Nelson reads the whole document, picks out what could be stronger and shows where. The contractor can improve it before it reaches your Approver, and your Approver starts with a clear summary, not page one.

Permit evolution has come in two clear steps.

Step one: paper to digital. Producing and considering a permit on screen, rather than writing it out by hand or waiting at the printer, takes around 10-15 minutes. Each TAP permit is one audited record. Hazards come straight from the Stacking Plan, clashing jobs are flagged, and attendance shows who is on site.

But that time has always left something out: the RAMS.
